Click on the 'Add Tran' tab as shown below.
You can add 5 scrips at the same time through the menu.

Can I edit / change / delete the transactions added in the portfolio? When will the effect of the same be displayed in the reports?

You can edit the transactions in all portfolios (HISL trades and manually created).
The effect of addition / deletion / change of the same in the reports will appear on the next day.

You can add as many scrips in portfolio as you want.

Are the transactions added to the portfolio based on my holdings in demat account?
A.
The transactions are added to the portfolio (HISL trades) as per the trades done through the online platform and not as per transactions in the demat account. For the manually created portfolio, the same will be as per the transactions entered by you.

What do I do in-case there is a corporate action in the scrips
I hold?
A.
In case of corporate actions limiting to split and bonus: HISL
will give the effect of the same to your portfolio holdings as on the ex-date.
In case of any other corporate action, the effect of the same will have to be
entered manually by you as per the credits / debits in your demat
account.

What is portfolio Holding report?

This report gives you a bird's eye view of realised and
unrealised gains separately for ready reference.

What is the 'Transaction Statement' report?
A.
This displays a detailed transaction report for the selected date range.

What is the Portfolio gain / loss report?
A.

Please note that:
- The intraday transactions if any will be considered in short term gain / loss
- Gain loss where the period of holding is more than one year will be considered as long term

How do I know how the scrip in my portfolio has fared compared
to sensex / nifty?

Smart Portfolio offers you a comparative analysis between the
scrip and NIFTY / SENSEX. This will be available for 2 years.
Q.
Are the trades done through HISL updated in portfolio real
time?
A.
No. The trades are updated in the portfolio at the end of the day and not real-time. Only the gain / loss for the day will be updated on a real time basis.

Are the transactions done in derivatives reflected?
A.
No. The portfolio will be updated only for the transactions done in Equity segment.
